I’m still waiting on the widgets and sprockets to align so that the paperback release shows up on the Amazon page, but for all intents and purposes, A Place Called Hope is go for launch.
And the good people at the ‘zon even got the series link fixed so there’s an awesome landing page just for the Z-Day books. Check it out here or hit the links in the sidebar!
As for now, still have a lot on the schedule. I’m currently working on Paxton book 2, Night’s Black Agents. I also have a commitment on a short story in a shared-universe sci-fi series due by Thanksgiving. TBD on release date of both of those, though I hope to have Agents completed by New Year’s.
After that, it’s on to a . . . sidequel? I hate to use the word prequel, but my next project will also be a Paxton-verse novel. Working title: Tombstones.
To say more would be a huge spoiler for Night’s Black Agents, but I am super stoked for this project. This novel has been rattling around the ol’ brainpain for a few years now, and has been not-so-patiently waiting for a breakout attempt.
The weirdest part will be how to classify it. Alt-history? Weird western? Urban fantasy? Who knows. But it should be fun, which in the end, is what it’s all about.
Z-Day book 3? Depends on how the process of writing Night’s Black Agents and Tombstones goes. Ideally I’d like to start working on it this time next year. I won’t spoil the title for it – but it’s on the last page of A Place Called Hope. 😉
I’ve been waiting for this and I just snatched it up. Thanks for the heads-up.
