Declan Finn is much too kind here. Mainly because I suspect Jim Butcher has everything meticulously planned out up to books twenty-something through thirty-something. I’m doing well if I’ve got a trilogy nailed down.
Speaking of which, I’m circling around the halfway point of Come, Seeling Night, which ends Paxton’s adventures … for this arc, anyway. What, you didn’t think I was going to throw in the towel, did you? As CSN comes together, I’m assembling the blueprints for the next trilogy in my head. I hope to get book four out late next year. Once I’m done with book three, though, I’m switching gears a bit to work on Vigilance.
In between the Heroes Unlimited book and Pax 4 is a little something I like to call ‘Project X.’ Mostly because the title would be a huge spoiler of what’s to come … and who likes spoilers? Project X is a Pax universe book, but it does more to fill in the backstory of another character. Too say any more would spoil the fun, and it’ s going to be hard enough keeping it to myself when I actually start writing. Suffice to say that it’s the reason I tried to get A Place Outside The Wild out of my head as X was the book I really, really wanted to write.
